New Song --- My Jesus Fair The quartet has been singing this song in concert since 2008. Based on feedback we have received, the song has been a tremendous blessing to audiences. Glenn Christianson did an outstanding job marrying the arrangement to the meaning and flow of the hymn’s text.II Cor. 5:21 says, “For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” Is. 53:5 says, “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.”These two verses describe the substitutionary atonement of Jesus Christ. He (Christ) who was without sin, stood in our place to endure God’s wrath and punishment for our sins. What glorious truth! That our Savior, who Himself was fully God, would condescend to come to this earth in humble obedience to God the Father’s loving will, be confined by a human body, live a perfect life, and then die a violent, bloody death so that we might be justified through His spotless righteousness. What love, what humiliation! This is the heart of the gospel! It has been a privilege to sing this song in concert and to be reminded each time of the precious salvation we have received through the finished crosswork of Jesus Christ. We trust your heart will be stirred as you listen to this song and meditate on our suffering Savior and risen Lord. Click to listen to My Jesus Fair As our mission statement says,
